Ajaccio, Corsica

Alesund a small fishing port situated between Trondheim and Bergen is as charming as they come. The town dates back to the days of the Vikings, but what stands out is the interesting Art Noveau style that the buildings display. A major fire destroyed the town in 1904, and it was rebuilt in the modern style. Alseund has a number of interesting museums and sights, not forgetting the fabulous fjords that Norway is famous for.
