Visa Information


Based on the current information available with us, the visa requirement(s) for the various cruise itineraries for Indian passport holders are as listed below. We must emphasize that current and up-to-date visa information is best sourced from the Embassy / Consulate of the country proposed to be visited, and, neither, TIRUN Travel Marketing, nor, the cruise line, can be held responsible for visa procurement, and rules and regulations of various countries to be visited on your cruise ship itinerary. Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International are 3 brands owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. policy is that guests are responsible for identifying and obtaining all necessary documentation for entry into the countries on their vacation itinerary.

ASIA ITINERARIES
  • China / Japan / Singapore / Taiwan: Valid visa required prior departure
  • Indonesia: Valid visa required prior departure. Options for obtaining visa:
    • Obtain prior departure from the country of residence
    • Obtain onboard the cruise ship for approximately USD 25.00 per person
  • Vietnam / Cambodia: Valid visa required prior departure. Options for obtaining visa:
    • Obtain prior departure from the country of residence
    • Obtain onboard the cruise ship. Visa fee as under:
      • Vietnam -USD 50.00 per person
      • Cambodia-USD 50.00 per person
  • Thailand: Valid visa required prior departure. Options for obtaining visa:
    • Obtain prior departure
    • Obtain onboard the cruise ship with the following mandatory requirement. All passengers must carry the following documents prior to boarding the ship:
      • Visa Fee: USD 50.00 per person *
      • Photocopy of passport
      • One Passport size photograph
  • Hong Kong: Guests will be issued visa on arrival
  • Korea: Guests will be issued visa on arrival provided they are in possession of a valid visa for Japan. The visa will be issued free of cost.
  • Jeju Island, South Korea-No visa required, as our guests will be ‘In Transit’ status.
  • Malaysia: No visa required, as our guests will be ‘In Transit’ status
  • Philippines: Visa required prior departure
  • Vladivostok, Russia: No visa required, as our guests will be ‘In Transit’ status
  • Petropavlovsk, Russia: No visa required, as our guests will be ‘In Transit’ status
  • Sri Lanka: Valid electronic visa required which will be obtained onboard the ship. For stays less than 48 hours, there is no charge for the ETA. Any guests planning to disembark and remain in Sri Lanka for more than 48 hours would need to apply for the ETA online in advance.


*Note: Visa fee will be auto charged to the Seapass account for those guests who do not posses valid visa prior to boarding the ship. The above mentioned visa fees are indicative, subject to change and include a nominal processing charge levied by the local representative for processing the visas.

ALASKA ITINERARIES
U.S.A. : Multiple Entry
Canada: Single Entry

AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND ITINERARIES
  • French Polynesia: Visa required prior to departure.
  • New Zealand:
  • Visa required prior to departure
  • Where a guest is not embarking or debarking permanently in New Zealand, guest will be considered to be in transit and will not require to obtain a separate visa.
  • Papua New Guinea: Valid visa is required and guests will be able to secure visa onboard the vessel for a one-time fee of less than USD 50.00 per person.


BAHAMAS / CARIBBEAN / MEXICO / BERMUDA ITINERARIES
  • For cruises originating, visiting and ending in a U.S.A. port, a multiple entry U.S.A. visa is required.
  • Bermuda - No visa required if guests in possession of a valid U.S.A visa.


BRITISH ISLES / NORWEGIAN FJORDS ITINERARIES
  • United Kingdom (U.K.).: Multiple Entry
  • Countries included in the Schengen visa regime: Multiple Entry Schengen visa per itinerary
  • Ireland: Visa required


CANADA / NEW ENGLAND ITINERARIES
U.S.A.: Multiple Entry
Canada: Single Entry

GULF ITINERARIES
For Royal Caribbean International cruise ship ‘Brilliance of the Seas’, 7 night Dubai sailings originating and ending in Dubai, U.A.E, the visa requirement is as under:
  • United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.): 2 single entry U.A.E. visas are required prior boarding the ship in the absence of which guests will be denied boarding. The 2 single entry U.A.E. visas must be applied for at the same time. The cruise line strongly recommends that guests use either a Dubai based appointed ground handler, Arabian Adventures or appointed port agent, Barwil Wilhelmsen.   • Bahrain: Guests will be issued a group visa. Guests are not required to apply for this visa separately.
  • Muscat, Oman: Guests will be issued group visas. A visa charge of USD 15 per person will be levied. Guests are not required to apply for these visas separately.


MEDITERRANEAN ITINERARIES
  • Countries included in the Schengen visa regime: Multiple Entry Schengen visa required per itinerary
  • Egypt: Valid visa required
  • Cyprus / Morocco: Visa required to go ashore but guests may remain on the ship in the absence of the relevant visas.
  • Croatia: No visa required if guests in possession of valid Schengen visa
  • Israel: Valid visa required and may be obtained onboard the cruise ship at a cost of approximately USD 70.00 per person.
  • Jordan: Valid visa required and may be obtained onboard the cruise ship.
  • Montenegro: Valid multiple entry Schengen or U.S. visa needed
  • Turkey: No visa required as our guests will be “In Transit” status.
  • Ukraine: No visa required as our guests will be “In Transit” status.


SCANDINAVIA / RUSSIA ITINERARIES
  • United Kingdom (U.K.).: Multiple Entry
  • Countries included in the Schengen visa regime: Multiple Entry Schengen visa required per itinerary
  • Russia:
  • The following information is applicable to St. Petersburg (Baltic sailings) as well as Sochi and Novorossiysk (Black Sea).Visa required prior departure. Options for obtaining visa:
    • Guests who purchase any available shore excursion through Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Cruises in St. Petersburg, either online www.royalcaribbean.com / www.celebritycruises.com, or onboard the ship, will not require a visa for Russia.
    • Guests who wish to sightsee independently or sightsee outside of Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Cruises shore excursion hours, must obtain an individual Russian Tourist Visa before leaving home. Russian Tourist Visas cannot be issued during your cruise.


All itineraries with St. Petersburg, Russia require the following for each guest, in order to expedite the immigration process;
    • Valid Passport with proper Visa (if required)
    • A photocopy of the passport
  • Latvia: Visa not required


SOUTH AMERICA ITINERARIES
  • Argentina / Chile / Peru: Valid visa required prior departure
  • Ecuador: Valid visa is required to go ashore failing which debarkation will not be permitted. However, in the absence of a valid visa, guests can stay onboard
  • Falkland Islands: Visa not required.
  • Columbia / Costa Rica / Uruguay: Visa not required as our guests will be “In Transit” status.
