- Take in the fabulous view of the blue Ionian Sea from a coastal café or take a scenic drive along the coastline
GRAB A BITE
A must-eat at should be at Italian tavern Klimataria in Benitses, where everything served on the menu is delicious and as fresh as can be. Do be sure to call ahead for reservations as it's a highly popular restaurant.
In the Old Town, buy some wild honey and handmade lace to take back home. A popular buy would be locally made wooden handicrafts and table clothes.
The average temps at the start of summer in May hovers in the pleasant 75°F/24°C and at the height of summer in August goes up to a soaring 88°F/32°C.
