THINGS TO DO AND SEE
SHOP
You can shop till you drop in Vancouver - the best part is that you will be picking up some pretty unusual stuff. Robson Street is the main shopping district - you can get everything here - from fashion to food. Whether you are looking for haute couture designer brands or just wanting to browse at little boutiques, this is the place to do it.
Check out the craft stores selling Native Indian crafts in Water Street. Main Street is also a favourite destination with shoppers, as is Gastown where you can stumble up on antiques and other bric-a-brac. Yaletown is great for picking up household stuff and Granville market for fresh food.
GRAB A BITE
Vancouver throws up so many options when it comes to restaurants and cuisines. Lovely little cafes in Gastown, slurpy noodles in Chinatown or a Japdog at a street vendor - these are just some of the choices!
